Esme is a 2 yr old 27 lb low rider female Dachshund mix with big brown beautiful eyes. Ezzy (as her foster family calls her) is the perfect size dog, an easy "medium" size.  She adores all people, from the oldest and greyest, right down to the toddlers who squeal "doggy" when they see her.  In terms of human interaction, she does not disappoint.  She is an amazing companion for her foster parents, she is clever and perceptive and just downright adorable. She will snuggle with you on the couch or in bed (if allowed).  She is crate trained, but as she is non-destructive and completely housebroken, she does not need to stay in the crate very often.   As an added bonus, she is such a great snuggler, that you will be able to lower your heat at when you sleep and save on heating bills.  Grab her this winter, she is good for your wallet and the environment.
