From ashes to awesome—meet Phoenix!
The name Phoenix couldn’t be more perfect for this stunning 9-month-old, 38-pound beauty. When she first arrived at Releash Atlanta, Phoenix was covered in mange, with fragile skin and a spirit weighed down. But like her mythological namesake, she’s made a spectacular transformation—healthy, happy, and ready for her forever family!
Phoenix is playful, smart, and loving—her tail never stops wagging, even at just a glance in her direction. She’s housebroken (and needs a home that allows potty breaks every 4 hours), sleeps peacefully in her crate at night, and enjoys romping with the other dogs in her foster home. She already knows some commands like “sit,” “get in your bed,” and even goes to the door when she needs outside.
While Phoenix could thrive as an only dog, she would love a furry sibling to play with. Because of her energy and size, she’ll do best with daily walks or a yard where she can play fetch (she’s getting pretty good at bringing the ball back!).
And let’s talk about those looks—Phoenix’s big brown eyes look like they’re lined with eyeliner, making her as striking as she is sweet.
