Trixie

Trixie is an 8-9 year old female Jack Russell Terrier who was returned to us when her owners could no longer care for her. Extended family called Trixie a “Godsend” and her foster family would agree as she is quiet and sweet - all 12 pounds of her. They think she will be a Godsend to another lucky family!

 

Trixie would enjoy a quiet home where she can follow her people around - carried or otherwise. She enjoys car rides and LOVES walks. As long as Trixie is kept on a schedule, she does well with being housebroken. She prefers to sleep in a dog bed or with her people.

 

While Trixie gets along well with all the dogs in her foster home, she would also do well as an only dog or with dogs her same size. As long as she has a lap to sit in and gets belly-rubs, she is a happy little girl. Trixie hasn’t been around cats but we think she will be fine - she is the sweetest and easiest girl and will make a wonderful companion to some fortunate person.

 

Trixie would appreciate a fenced yard or patio to sun herself in, someone who enjoys walks, and a comfortable bed or dog bed.
