Hi! I’m Wendy and I’m ready to find my forever family. I’m so excited!

 

I came to Releash Atlanta from a hoarding situation last summer. It was a tough life back then, but that’s all in the past for me now!

 

I’ve learned so much about being in a family and having humans to love. I can’t wait to meet my forever family and get settled into my home sweet home.

 

Things I love: my name, toys, any ball, walks, snuggles, belly rubs, snacks, sunshine, naps

 

Go ahead - call me! Weeeeeenndyyyyyyy! Have you ever seen a happier tail? I don't think so. I’ve never met a toy that wasn’t super fun. I love to run and squeak and play. Nothing makes me happier than a ball. I tend to shred plush toys (oops), so my foster mom says I have limited access to those. I can be nervous and a little barky around strangers, but I settle down with some soothing. I just need some reassurance that they’re friendly folks. I am great on a leash and I love to walk! I’m crate trained and also love to sleep in the bed when I’m allowed. I’m a great snuggler! Once we’ve gotten to know each other I’ll even give you kisses and let you rub my belly. The way to my heart is definitely through my stomach. I’m a girl who loves snacks! I really enjoy being outside – sunbathing is one of my favorite pastimes.

 

Things I don’t love: strangers, thunderstorms

 

I need a little bit of extra patience with new people and situations, but not too much. And I’m getting more confident every day. I don’t like thunderstorms, but who does? If you can give me a little extra time and patience to get to know you and realize you’re my safe place, you’ll have my undying affection and loyalty forever.

 

I’m a great combo of active and chill. Squirrels and chipmunks should beware when they’re in my line of sight. I love to run fast and chase a ball. And I’m an excellent napper: floor, my bed, your bed, the couch – you name it! Want to snuggle under a blanket? Perfect – I get chilly sometimes.
