Hey there, I'm Midge, a bubbly 3-month-old pup with a whole lot of love to give! In the pictures, you probably notice my big ears, sweet face, and funny “eyebrow”, but if you meet me in real life, you'll soon be enamored with my boundless energy and enthusiasm for life.
My breed background is a bit of a mystery (Releash thinks I’ve got some border collie roots - so I’ll probably be smart and athletic!), but we don’t know for sure how big I’m going to get when full grown. Best guess is “medium-sized.”
I absolutely adore people, and nothing makes me happier than snuggling up for belly rubs whenever I can. But I'm also a total goofball who's always up for a game of fetch or a romp with my favorite toys. And let's not forget about treats – I'm a sucker for those tasty snacks!
While I love human company, I'm really hoping to have another playful canine companion in my forever home to be my friend and teach me how to dog.
My foster parents are working to teach me manners, where to go potty, and what I should and should not chew. I’m still a baby, so of course I have a lot to learn! Fortunately, I’m a quick learner! I’m pretty good on a leash and in a crate. I can make it through the night without needing to go outside, but when I'm awake, I'll definitely need plenty of potty breaks to keep me on track. For that reason, I’ll need patient humans in my forever home who are around more often than not, at least for a while. I can be a bit barky when I’m excited or frustrated, so an apartment or condo with shared walls may not be the best fit.
Now, I've got to admit, I can be a bit nippy, jumpy, and excitable. So, my forever home should be free of little humans who might get overwhelmed by my exuberance. But for a family with lots of love to give and time to spend with me, I promise to be the most loyal and loving addition to your lives.
So, if you're ready for a lifetime of cuddles, games, and endless puppy kisses, I can't wait to meet you! Let's make some memories together!
